Radical - What a very difficult maneuver or trick is done on a wave is called
Rail — Edge of the board.
Reef break — Waves breaking over reef or rock.
Regular foot — Left foot forward.
Re-entry — Hitting the lip and turning back down.
Right — A wave breaking to the surfer’s right.
Rip current — Strong current flowing away from shore.
Roll-in takeoff — Angled takeoff instead of dropping straight down.
